Sunnyside House is an independence transition home in Thurrock, Essex. We specialise in residential care that provides life skills and the transition to independent living. Our team are fully dedicated to supporting our resident learners in becoming as independent as possible. We have won numerous awards including the accolade Skills for Care Winners of Winners and have consistently met CQC Standards without any recommendations or actions required.

We take a completely rounded out approach to training. We know that learning about life skills is only half of the battle and that practicing these skills in person is so important for anyone wanting to be independent.

We offer residential, respite and a day service all including the innovative My Life Learning Programme as well as Supported Living Accommodation and Domiciliary Care

The high quality training we provide is one reason why we stand out as an independence transition home that wants to make a difference. We have invested in a completely equipped training room. In addition our staff have undertaken specialist and extensive training to become My Life tutors or assessors, to ensure the best possible outcome for our learners.
